Concerts

Iran has no opera house and few concert halls. Music is mainly practiced in private (family reunions, weddings, parties, etc.). There are nevertheless numerous concerts, especially in Tehran, more rarely in provincial towns. Several organizations (Iran Concert, Melotik, Honar Ticket) centralize the programming of numerous pop, traditional, Western classical or fusion music concerts. We can reserve tickets for concerts if your Iran itinerary allows you to attend. Some cafés also organize concerts on a more or less regular basis. If you nevertheless wish to have privileged access to Persian music (traditional, classical), we recommend the musical trips that we organize with the Swiss association Abrisham.
