In the footsteps of great travelers

Discover the main stages of the conquest of Alexander the Great, visit the city of Isfahan described by Jean Chardin in the 17th century, follow in the footsteps of Nicolas Bouvier (L’Usage du monde, 1963)… The travelers who preceded us have not only marked out routes, they have helped to forge a way of seeing and feeling – which can inspire us to go elsewhere, or to like to see differently. The itineraries of ancient travelers, from Marco Polo to Pierre Loti, are in all cases good starting points for imagining your journey.
