From the forests of Gilan to the Turkmen steppes

Between the Alborz range and the Caspian Sea, stretches a long strip of green land, cradle of a multi-millennial culture, as rich as it is little-known. Rice fields, misty forests, musical traditions, funerary towers and wooden houses form a unique natural, cultural and human heritage, radically different from the central cities and regions of Iran such as Isfahan or Shiraz. This trip invites you on a unique journey, which combines contrasts and extremities in a single breath: from cosmopolitan Tabriz and the forests of Gilan, to the Turkmen steppes and the sometimes exceptional sites of northern Khorasan and Mashhad.
